Digital Illustrations
Here are some digital illustrations that I have been working on!
Most of these will be somewhat comic panel like since I am a comics artist; these will be because they are cinematic scene-like moments.
I've Made So Many Sacrifices: a trans day of visibility piece and reflection
Inktober 2023 Day 4: What happened to the crickets... I decided that instead of drawing a cricket that I wanted to draw a murderous frog. And I think it works wonderfully. This was the last Inktober I finished for this year unfortunately due to being busy.
Abstract glitchwork piece made in procreate using the liquify and glitch features
Inktober 2023 Day 3: The Basement Light. Really wanted to play around with ambiance and add a true background for this piece.
Inktober 2023 Day 2: Uncanny. Wanted to mess with textures and layer filters. Also I really enjoy the little guy that I made in the mirror. LOVE HIM.
Inktober 2023 Day 1: It Howls. Was really thinking of wolves obviously so I wanted to do a werewolf, but make it what happens before the transition itself. This list is not the official Inktober list, but I a professor/friend of mine showed me what he was having his students do and I loved the prompts.
Beautiful and fierce. I wanted to make a nice painting for my martial arts instructor in commemoration of my black belt test.
This is Oliver (He/They). Kind of reminds me of myself in a lot of ways. I love using the glitch effect so I wanted to go nuts on the background and it was epic.
Chrissa Witch DTIYS entry! I have another version on my instagram with a blue filter over it but I had lots of fun doing this! Be sure to check out the original drawing that I have on my instagram, and can also be found when looking up Chrissa Bug on instagram or #chrissawitchdtiys.
Meet Ash (He/Him). I do not know why exactly I made him, but I love him dearly.
A fun pride drawing of my ocs Eden and Isabella! Love them so much.
This one is my take and entry for the @Kalisami DTIYS for 175k followers! I will also post this on my fanart section.

Hands Muse Red
Hands Muse Green
Hands Muse Blue
Hands Muse Purple
Fanart of Taylor Swift's Speak Now album cover, so I will also post in fanart!
Dragon Design. Making stickers currently. Other versions of the design are in the works.

Galaxy Sticker Design! I made my first ever set of stickers with a vinyl cutter in class and I am hoping to post those soon. The passages we were given were about The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but I made this very general.
Until Everything Falls Apart... This piece was created based on a few lines from the poem The Geese by Jorie Graham! There is a section that talks about "the lines bind over bind, the lines to the eaves, the lines to the pincushion bush, etc." For a poem about geese, there was a lot of talk about spiderwebs. This was the most beautiful selection in my opinion from the piece and I love how it turned out.
This crazed chicken just ate a plum and is screeching. That's it. There's nothing else. In all seriousness though, this is what I thought of when given two poems by William Carlos Williams: "That is just to say" and "So Much Depends." These are very lovely poems, but all I could think of was chaos, and apparently my professor and mentor felt the exact same.

Little meet the artist drawing!

You Don't Get To Decide promotional poster.

When Is It Our Choice? Why Isn't It Our Choice?

La Vraie Vie avec La Vie en Rose (The True Life with the Life In Love/in Pink). The small image inside is the original traditional drawing I did of myself in colored pencil many years ago, but I went back over in Procreate to make a digital and updated version of myself many years later. I also wanted to mess with the effects and colorization in procreate; the skin tone is only affected by the layer blend, as it made the rest of the image darker but made a really cool effect on the hair.

Fire and Water. Myself in two different forms of elemental magic.

Two Halves of One Soul.

Abstraction.

Numb Little Bug. Unfinished self portrait drawing.

Just daydreaming... a little sketch.

Sappho. Not sure why I associate this with Sappho, but I do.

Misty Eyed

Mosaic Dragon Drawing

What Do You Want From Me? A Billie Eilish portrait based off the Vogue cover. This was made completely in Illustrator.

Daydreaming Fantasy: Illustrator Drawing
This scene was created based on the idea that was prompted from the words The Dark Tower. We were given a dark tower series passage in class, though I did not want to do the passage since it was about the gunslinger. I chose to make a moment about a hero entering the final destination and the fear and setting impending doom before the final fight.
Memory of a Rainbow. This is the still version of a GIF I made based on a line from The Giver wherein The Giver tells Jonas he is going to give him the memory of a rainbow. I also read this piece not only from the standpoint of seeing color for the first time, but also from a queer perspective which falls in line well with my work.
This is a book cover concept design I made for class based on the science fiction story Solaris. I have never read the story or seen the movie, but apparently this is reminiscent of a scene within the narrative and that's pretty creepy!
